FIGO Scientific Committee journals and guidance
The FIGO Committee on Childbirth and Postpartum Hemorrhage (PPH) is a global team of obstetric experts dedicated to reducing maternal mortality through evidence-based clinical guidelines, advocacy and research on the prevention and management of postpartum hemorrhage, the leading cause of maternal death worldwide.
The FIGO Committee on Menstrual Disorders and Related Health Impacts develops clinical classification systems, research frameworks and advocacy resources to improve the diagnosis and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB), heavy menstrual bleeding (HMB) and related conditions such as iron deficiency and iron deficiency anemia affecting women globally.
